The course explores the global environmental crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, their causes and historical development pathways. The course will also explore international agreements on sustainable development and environmental and nature conservation, the global challenges in achieving sustainable development, and the concept of planetary well-being.

This course is equivalent to BENY2021 Introduction to planetary well-being.

This is an independent Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). You will learn about the global sustainability problems and familiarize yourself with the concept of planetary well-being. Deadline for the tasks is September 30th 2025.

Online registration instructions
